Young Woman of Achievement

Every year the YWCA Quincy awards a $1000 scholarship to a young woman who has demonstrated leadership by being a role model for others, maintained academic success, participated significantly in community service, and is going on to fulfill her academic potential by furthering her education in any accredited college or vocational school. Applications are accepted each fall. Those applying must be between the ages of 17 and 21.

To apply, submit a letter describing how you have met the criteria for the award, along with two letters of reference from school staff members. All Letters should be submitted together and mailed to: YWCA Quincy, Attn: Executive Director, 639 York St., Suite 202, Quincy, IL 62301, or emailed to: executivedirector@ywcaquincy.org.

Applications are taken throughout the year and will be selected in January of each year.
